The Village
Miramont de Quercy is a typical hill-top Quercyoise village - a pretty collection of houses made from the original white limestone centred around a small village square. There's no through road as such so it's very peaceful and quiet. It has one small restaurant - L'Auberge de Miramont - just moments from the house. Wonderful food, great wines and no driving home - an excellent combination we think.
We also have a post office which is open at some point most days, in the nearby village of Touffaills there is an excellent baker and in Lauzerte an excellent supermarket with fresh meat, cheese, local vegetables and fruit. Lauzerte is about 10 minutes by car.
The house itself is set back behind the main square, with parking for two cars.
